G37 sport LED DRL

New to this site but Looking to upgrade my fog light/ and or add LED DRL to my G sedan...was wondering if anyone had opinions on the best option for me. I'm not looking to spend a million dollars but want something that will look somewhat stock and not look stupid in the daytime. I was thinking about getting fog light LED DRLs but don't know if this is the right way to go. Thanks for any help I can get.

You can spend a little bit more and get your headlights customized with painted housings clear lenses, LED halos instead of the OEM DRL.

Thanks

Hey thanks for the response, I've seen those they look awesome but a bit out of my price range at the moment. Was thinking about the Philips style 4-5 led line DRL.

So just save up! Buy once, cry once. (I learned the hard way)

IMHO, the OEM LED DRLs are the way to go. They add flair to the bottom faux vents at an unparalleled balance, with the fit and finish of OE Afterthought.

It's the option I went with
And will work properly as DRLs are supposed to:

When the engine is on and the e-brake is disengaged

IMO the OEM DRLs, while sharp looking, are way overpriced for what they are. I pushed the idea around of adding the Phillips style DRLs as well, after quite a bit of measuring and even making some cardboard mock ups of a few models of the "bar style" LEDs found that most would stick out of the bumper too much for my liking as the openings in the lower grill are all relatively shallow. So, the fitment may be where the OEM DRLs really shine (no pun intended). I ended up modifying the wiring design of some IJDMToy LED fogs I picked up in the classifieds. I'm still digging the look and the fact that the setup is fairly unique...

Here's more than you probably ever wanted to know:

The OEM LED DRL look tacked on. It's like Infiniti had to do something, because EVERY other car had them, so they slapped some LEDs on, put an obnoxious price tag on them, and went to lunch.

Totally agree, Lego. It looks out of place, and costs a small fortune.

However, if my car or your car came with these things when we bought it, I'm quite sure we'd be less critical.

Long dead horse, I know, but my last two Subaru Legacy GTs before my current '11 G37 had DRLs by default. Bought them all new.
Still looking for a decent retrofit.
