Wellvisors Window Visors

Bought these visors and I must say, they're extremely nice for the price. I like how they don't end before the last window on the back door like the OEM Nissan visors. Would recommend for anyone considering! Install was easy after watching the install video on Youtube.

Looks good but never been a fan of installation using 3m tape.

It's not only held on by 3m tape. It also comes with a bracket and push pins to lock the visor into the window channel

Front windows use 3 of those brackets and pins, rears use 2

Not questioning the support of it, more the eventual breaking down of the tape due to weather, temperature and so on. Cleaning and reinstall of 3m tape is such a pain.

With good tape and good application you shouldn't need to do that.

Plenty of body parts are installed with tape like front lips and spoilers...these also have clips which make them nice and rigid.

I think that's the cleanest looking window visor application I've seen for these cars.

I had a 2008 acura tl with oem acura window visors for 4 years. It was also held on by 3m tape and clips.

I think most oem applications use the combination of 3m tape and clips.

Weathertech makes visors that don't use tape or clips. Instead they sit in the window channel. They also look like pure ****

I have the JDM window visors on my car and they look identical to those you show. They were a bit more expensive at around $110 IIRC. They are also held on with a couple of clips and the 3M tape and I've had no problems with any of them to date. The tape MIGHT eventually split but I doubt that the super-heavy-duty-industrial-grade glue will ever give up the ghost. In fact, IIRC the instructions said to make sure that the visors were exactly in place before removing the waxed paper covering the tape since they are virtually impossible to move once they have contacted the door frame. FWIW, I installed the mud guards on my car after I bought it and they are held on with screws, push-pins and 3M tape. I would expect that I would have more problems with them than the visors but so far (knock on wood) I have had no problems with them, either.

I have the WeatherTech visors on the wife's 2011 Subaru Outback. They work well enough but they're not attached as well as the ones on the G and tend to shift around a little when the windows are opened.

The JDM Nissan ones don't extend as far on the back window. They're cut short and don't flow as well in my opinion. Plus they're more expensive.

Yes, I agree with your observations on price and fit. I'm not familiar with your particular brand so I'm not in a position to assess their quality. I wasn't trying to say the JDM units are any better; just commenting on how the factory ones are attached. If you're happy, that's all that really matters.
