Lip fitment suggestions and help.

I am having an issue with my lip on my car.

I thought I could live with it but find it super annoying everytime I see it.

I was able to get the lip to sit flush with the bumper and it looks pretty good everywhere and seems centered and fastened on quite well.

You can see my issue circled above in yellow. The issue is that on the passenger side the lip is about a 1\4 to 1\2" too long and the part that is supposed to fit snug in the wheel well is pushed into it a tiny bit.

When installing I played around with pushing it up to be flush but it created issues with the face of the car and created gaps. So when making a decision I decided that this problem was better than it looking ****ty where it mattered.

Is there any good way to fix this and get rid of this small annoyance.

In looking at a lot of other pics I don't even see the fins that fit in the wheel well on most of the cars on here.

Any tips or tricks? If I push it to where it feels like it should go the face doesn't fit properly.

I ended up cutting the excess in the wheel wells flush and sanding and painting them.
