Quick question about illuminated door sill fuses and wiring
My 2012 g sedan came with the illuminated door sills/kick plates from the factory. Since I've purchased it only the passenger side works. I found one glass tube 5a250 fuse on the passenger side where both sides meet. This fuse is intact and when removed, the passenger side goes out.
Am I correct in assuming this is the only fuse for both? And since the passenger side works and the driver side doesn't, there is either a break in the drivers side wiring or the plate just doesn't work anymore?
And ideas on where to find a single driver side kick plate? U pull it time?
I am attempting to take the door sill apart and replace the LED with the items below. Im not sure how common this issue is but would anyone be interested in a write up?
Looks like the LEDs i ordered should work perfectly. If they look too different or better/worse than the passenger side, I have enough extra material to change that too. And here is the guts....

Where is the fuse for the lighted sills?

Where is the fuse for the lighted sills? How do I get access?

If they are factory (OEM) plates, the fuse will be on the passenger-side tucked somewhere behind the BCM & door sill trim panels. The fuse holder might be wrapped up in a foam tape but you can't miss it (see here).
