Popular non-OEM black headlights

Hi All,

I see a lot of G's on here that have ether aftermarket or what I am assuming are OEM headlights that have a black casing instead of the stock Chrome ones.

Is there a particular brand that is widely used in the community? If so, what are they? How much do they run? Where can I order them?

If they are just painted OEM, how do I go about doing this? Is there a DIY somewhere?

Cheers,

Triippy (Andy)

Hello most of us have modified oem headlights, I have yet heard of aftermarket headlights that come already made, you can DIY if your good at technical stuff but it's isn't the easiest job because you have to make sure they seal properly mostly by baking them, depending where you are located there are professionals that do it. I got mine done in Ohio by someone that's really good at doing them I'll attach pictures. If your in the east coast Go2customs does a good job and in So Cal a guy that goes by Raul G Custom does great job as well.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I live in Orlando/Tampa area (Florida). Anyone know of a good shop that does it around here?

I'm sure there is, I would call a shop that deals with customizing cars and that are reputable around your area and ask, make sure they have good reviews. If I know of anyone I'll let you know for sure. You can always ship them but it's a hassle it's better to be done locally to save money since shipping can be expensive

Hey I'm in Tampa too! Anyway if you join Central Florida Z Club, you can find Headlight Tom on there. You might know him or seen his car around. He does headlights really well, pretty much everyone in the tampa area goes to him.
