Pardon if I missed this in another thread.
I searched but couldn't find a topic on this.

I've noticed that my map lights have stopped dimming-out when the auto-shutoff feature activates.

Previously, after timing out, or just after locking the car they would slowly dim fade-to-black. Now, they simply wink out.

I have switched to color LEDs but the feature worked after the change, until recently.

Does anyone know if this is a setting or some issue involved here?

 

LED's don't dim like incandescent bulbs. It works marginally but not like the incandescent bulbs. Either live with it or switch back. IMHO .... unless you are in High School still, loose the colored bulbs. Also, get good LED's not ebay, Pep-Boys, Walmart, etc .... either V-LED or Diode Dynamics.

No settings involved.
