Bumper Holes

Hello all I have bought some bumper plugs for my G37 sedan and I have noticed when trying to put them in that it goes in perfectly but it's loose, seems like the hole is bigger than the plug, anything I can do like glue or something to hold it in there?

Maybe a little silicone? Will hold it in place but pull off without damage if you need to remove it. Don't use too much.

If you don't want to use an adhesive, you could also see about wrapping the plug with some electrical tape to increase the diameter of it a little bit.

May I ask what plugs you bought? I just bought my car from a state that requires front tags, but my state does not. Dealer handed me a couple of clips that look like they hold the trunk liner pieces in. Not sure if I want to use them.

I used three sets of these for our cars when we moved from MD to FL. Over priced but they fit good and don't look too bad. The folks with deep pockets on the forum will tell you to get them filled and bumper painted. Not an option for some of us, especially for three cars
