what is this light bulb called?

Hi,

Just noticed my driver left light went out. It flickers a little bit. Passenger side works fine. What is this light called and any DIY to replace this?

I think Dioded Dynamic sells this?

DD has a diagram on their site that will show you the light and your options for a replacement.

Thanks guys. Will place an order for DD tonight.

All these DIY procedures seem confusing, especially the one linked above. I managed to find a video that does the steps.

As others mentioned, that is indeed the city light location. It's a simple 194 bulb replacement:

I suggest our 5000K HP3 or 5000K HP5 personally, but any of our 194 bulb model options will fit

Thanks!

How simple are we talking? Do you need to go through the fender or take out the air intake to access these bulbs?

Would the 5000K HP5 match the regular headlights? Or 6000K HP5? I'm trying to make them match. My left one is burnt out so I might as well upgrade!
Took my G last year to get inspected and the mechanic let me slide because he saw that I take care of my G and knew that I would fix it but still haven't My inspection is due in 2 months.

I think both of those will be MUCH whiter than the factory headlights

I took out the air intakes to access the bulbs FWIW.

Hard to tell 100% from the picture, but that looks like a 194 bulb to me

Check the above video link I posted earlier. It seems pretty easy.
