I did blue in my G. Looks really nice and gives a cool ambient presence. Cheapest mod and it gets the most compliments out of anything I've done to the car.. go figure.

I bet blue looks awesome. I'd love to see some pix.
Since my car is red I went that way. Interesting effect: the red door lights make the red door frame look white.

I want to add colored footwell lighting eventually. Trying to decide on which kit to go with.

Shipped from China. Pretty good quality actually. Only flaw is the leader thread between the letters. Easily removed.

I'm in the process of installing footwell lighting right now actually, im DIYing it. I'll post some pics once I'm done with all the blue ambient light.

That's funny that the lead thread is edited out of the eBay pictures. A black sharpie should do the trick.

Quick question: are the pillows comfortable? They look nice enough. I've actually got a pair saved in my eBay cart. But, wasn't sure if they provided any value other than aesthetic? I'm average height/build. Seats are comfortable. But, these might make them more so.

A black sharpie would be the quick fix indeed.
For me though, I'd just put a drop of super glue on each end of the thread then snip it. That way, no worries about it snapping and hanging loose.
Either way, it's a NBD tweak.


Comfort: I'm 6'3 these ride right in the void between my shoulders and head. So I rarely touch them much less rest on them. For me they are aesthetic only...my passenger might feel differently.

Hey, they were <$30 bucks, look OEM and add/remove in 10s. Easy fun!

Looking forward to seeing it.

I was thinking of a set that allowed me to choose colors but would most likely start with red. I saw some that were music activated. That would be fun for a while, could always switch it off later.

I would like it to activate with the doors though, and stay on for the drive. Not sure how that would work out.
Nothing like having a hot pair of legs in the passenger side with mood lighting shining on them.
