yes, its washed out in the photo, but its an LED display.

saved me yesterday ... left for work after the car sat for 3 days. forgot about the slow leak ... the device let out a warning alarm that the wheel was at 20 psi, so i turned around and filled it in my garage. the dash warning took another 5 minutes to go off. i need to get to the tire shop ASAP to get that wheel fixed.

BTW, the sensors are snugged up with a lock nut. i dont even think you could steal them without undoing the nut with the included little wrench.

I hadn't tried the app myself until last night.
There are several in the AppStore all free, and not one of them seem to clearly mention they are designed to be used with a special bluetooth receiver sold separately.

In other words: Nope it doesn't work without buying some gear.

IMO this whole TPMS thing kind of stinks.
My 2007 FX35 had a great on-screen tire pressure display.
The TPMS sensors transmit battery level, ID, pressure, temperature and other things. Cars should display it. Or at the very least have it easily obtainable through the OBDII

And it's a total shame when cars don't support two wheelsets, read and display codes without jumping through hoops.

Especially considering how many people drive in the snow, AWD or not.

"standard on all 2013 Nissans ...."

HEY NISSAN, INFINITI IS YOUR LUXURY BRAND. HOW ABOUT PUTTING THE CUTTING EDGE NEW FEATURES IN THEM BEFORE YOU PUT THEM IN THE ECONOBOXES AND GROCERY GETTERS?!?!?

I will ask again with all the IT people on this forum there isn't someone with the knowledge to hack and reconfigure the center screen to display this kind of thing along with my want the full artist and song titles in the audio system.

I have one of those plug-ins and it does not give tire pressure information.

I have one of them dongles and Torque as well, and Torque does not read the TPMS signal. Is it processed through the ECU?

The TPMS Apps don't clearly state it but they REQUIRE you purchase their bluetooth reciever.
I've tried several and They do not work with ODB-II dongles.

I've looked for a ODB-II app that displays TPMS data but can't find any.
I do not think this info is available through the ODB-II port... at least not that I can find thus far.

there's an app for the sensors i have, but its kind of pointless with the little display already in the car.

Thats pretty awesome, its sad how even the 350z got a proper number display for each tire and infiniti didnt.

Hopefully they dont fly off and lead to loss of tire pressure.

Landshark, any update on the sensor? How are they working out for you? no issues from the past 5 months?
