2014 Q60S - Rear Turn Signal Bulbs
Well, I thought this would be simple. Maybe not...
Received my LED upgrade rear turn signal lamps from DD today, only to find the 2014 does not have the same simple plug and play set up as prior years. Looks like the entire tail light assembly needs to be removed. So be it...
Anyone ever do this? Visibly, there appear to be three bolts/screws that need to be removed, and a number of what appear to be guide pins of some sort.
Any experienced comments are most welcome. I'm not going to attempt this without a knowledgable comment or three. Thanks!

There are some DIY threads out there for the tail lights. I don't subscribe to the "tap with a hammer" approach as I feel you could break the bolts back into the plastic. To remove mine I used the "pull like h3ll" method.
Tone I changed mine in the spring and I believe I loosened the screws and gently rocked the light assembly from the outside until it backed out of usual location. It was very straight forward after the first one. Take your time and good luck. Let us know how you make out.

Need some additional input here.
On the driver's side rear tail light assy, I removed the 3 bolts. The assy comes loose on the side closest to the center of the trunk, but the side closest to the fender won't budge. I checked around and found 2 additional securing points. It looks like these caps, or covers, (one brown and one white) may need to be pulled off before it will come loose?
Thoughts? Help!

I've removed my tails a lot over the past two years.. A simple rubber mallet and some sturdy taps on the back of the metal posts have never failed me nor harmed the housing. They do pop out so kind of hold on to them so nothing can scratch paint accidentally.
