New Premium DDM Ultra D2S Bulbs

The headlight housing was replaced 6 months ago and since then I can only run stock bulbs? Thoughts,
Sorry thread jacking question :/
Same here I just replaced my bulbs with DD 8k D2S bulbs and when the car hasn't been started for a while my passenger one doesn't turn on until I have to switch the on and off switch several times. Mines a 2011 and as far as DD states it's only the 2012 and up that have the new ballast, so I ordered another replacement bulb to see what will occur. The bulbs it self work great until the car is off for a while but they both stay on after I flip the switch several times

Diode Dynamics-He is a sponsor, you get free shipping and he has the bulbs for newer cars. And if you have a problem you can just call them and talk to somebody.
Placed my order earlier.

Well, if you guys are saying that the Morimotos work fine with the newer finicky ballasts than I might as well go with them since they are a proven entity. Read a bunch older threads saying that the Morimoto XB35's do not work reliably with the newer ballast but maybe they changed something. Anybody here have problems with Morimoto and newer ballast?

What year is your car?

My Experience with DDM

I've purchased 6 HID kits from DDM over the past years.

3 of the HID kits stopped working. They were the H4 hi/lo bulbs. Since they have "lifetime warranty" I made a claim and waited weeks to receive replacement bulbs that weren't even similar to what I initially received.

They had sent junky warranty replacement bulbs straight from China, that were very sloppily made and didn't even work.

I would really recommend a different vendor that provides a better customer experience.

The actual people that work at DDM are nice, however the process in which they must issue replacements is very poor.
