Since I got asked a few questions after commenting on an LED fog thread I decided to throw some pics up. So as the title states I have made the switch from HID to LED fog lights....I really could not be more happy, I was so sick and tired of my HID kits over the years on every car I have owned having issues with going out, ballast not working, color changing etc. I decided to give the LED fogs a shot and am glad I did. Everything seems just as bright and light output on the road seems to be the same. I cannot tell the difference. I purchase a set off of Ebay for $41 that came with a yellow lens that can be removed so you can go white or yellow if you prefer. I went with White since every bulb I have in my car is white....

Is there any hint of blue with the cover removed? I'm looking to match VLED's 6k which is white with a very slight hue of blue

 

No blue at all... Purely white

 

Thanks for this write up. I was about to get an HID set for my fogs but didn't want to deal with all the wiring I would have to do. My second plan was just get the LED for plug n play and now your post definitely made my decision. Thanks for the pics and link. They look awesome!

 

I love it!!! I hate my oem fog lights not matching my hid headlights. It just looks stupid. Your's look so good. Damn I hate this forum... I keep buying crap all the time. Lol
