LED v3 Triton Switchbacks + Other LEDs

Did a quick google search for "MyG37 v3 triton" and found several threads of people asking questions about these bulbs but could not find 1 single video or picture showcasing these bulbs on the G37. Doesn't seem like a popular bulb upgrade around here like it is on my other forum (Acurazine).

Decided to take a couple pics and a video for you guys to check it out. Went ahead and took pics of my interior/trunk and exterior LED lights while I was at it. I will post links to the specific bulbs below.

The last 2 pictures of my fog lights still show I had amber incandescent parking bulbs. I have since replaced those with 5k VLED parking light bulbs.

Turn signal switchbacks are 5K - 5K WHITE AMBER SWITCHBACK V3 TRITON LED SYSTEM 2.5 | 1 SET - 7443 - 7440 LED - Shop Bulb #
Parking/City lights are 5K VLEDs - 194 5K WHITE 6 LED HIGH POWER 360° 180LM | 1 PAIR - 194 - 168 - 158 LED - Shop Bulb #
Headlights are Osram CBI - D2S: Osram Xenarc 66240 CBI - HID Bulbs - Components
License plates are 5K VLEDs - 5K WHITE 4 LED HIGH POWER BULBS 194 168 158 160LM | 1 PAIR - 194 - 168 - 158 LED - Shop Bulb #
Interior lights are 5K VLEDs - 5K WHITE HIGH POWER LED BULBS 194 168 158 80LM | 1 PAIR - 194 - 168 - 158 LED - Shop Bulb #
Rear turn signals are VLED Platinum Reds - RED 21 LED 7443 7440 STANDARD BASE | 1 PAIR
Door courtesy Light is 12 LED panel from ebay seller SNB331 (They are 5k pure white, no hint of blue)
Fog lights are VVME from eBay seller "mydepots"

I hate 6k or any other LED that has a bluish tinge to it. Looks very cheap. I prefer my white LEDs to be clean pure white therefore all my lighting is 5k. I do admit however the 5K switchbacks do appear slightly yellow. 6K would be a better match.

Any questions feel free to ask!

I'm using the same red VLEDs bulbs for the rear turn signals in my 2011 G37 sedan. Also using the amber version of the same bulb for my front turn indicators (I didn't really want the "switchback" function).

I'm totally happy with how bright these bulbs are (brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs) and love the way the LED bulbs "snap" on when activated.

I've had these bulbs installed now for 13 months with no problems. Love VLEDs' bulbs!

Thanks for sharing! I wish the white color of the switchback matched your other lights better. This was always a worry of mine when contemplating the purchase of these.

Sport model with graphite interior and wood trim, nice! Have the same on mine.

Yeah it turns out the 6k switchbacks matches osram cbi.

I got the 5k thinking it was going to match but other people on my other forum suggested 6k. I should have took their suggestion

For the rear turn signals you don't need a kit like the fronts.

I don't understand what you mean by "don't need a kit like the fronts"?

I did recently purchase a tail-as-turn module from diodedynamics and turned my rear O rings in the tail lights to blink as turn signals.

I plan on wiring up my factory turn signal bulbs (which are now VLED platinum red bulbs) to also blink with the O rings.

The front I had to buy the adapter kit. Does the back need that too.

Oh yeah if you bought triton v3 bulbs you will need a 7440/7443 adapter for it.

The reason why is because the triton v3 bulbs are pretty much universal. The adapter is what allows you to use it for a specific application

I see you wrote that you purchased the "tail as turn module" from diodedynamics, I seen that listed on their website and they claim it only works on the Coupe but just to confirm as I see you own a Sedan that it does indeed work on the Sedan variant of the G?

I think I might order it if it does.

There is a video on that very page that shows you how. Plus they can tell you how (which wires to splice) if you call them.
