2008 Infiniti G37S Window problem?

I don't know if this is a problem or its suppose to be like this but every time i open and close the car door, the window goes down like half a inch. it happens to the passenger door too. How do i fix this? its annoying because i have to turn on the car to roll it back up.

thank you

Simple to fix. Just turn the key on to acc, run both windows down than run them back up, holding the up switch for a few seconds. That should take care of it.

Does it not roll back up automatically after you close the doors again?

Since the coupe does not have a full window frame, the normal window operation for the coupe is to automatically roll the window down a fraction of an inch so that the window can unseat from the gasket channel along the A-pillar and roof. If it did not do this, you couldn't open the door. It should also automatically roll them back up that last little bit after you close the door again.

It is possible that your window stop settings have been lost, as Glenn was suggesting. The proper reset procedure is to: get in, close the door, then roll the window down all the way and continue to hold the button for at least an additional 10 seconds after the window stops. Then roll it all the way back up and continue to hold the button for at least an additional 10 seconds after the window stops. After that, it should operate normally again. If it does not, you either did it wrong, or there is a legitimate problem.

EDIT: note to self, learn to type faster.
