Interior LED, license plate light

I have been looking all over site and internet for an answer to this and havent found it, hoping someone can help me.

i bought interior LED lights for my 08 g37s coupe (some cheap ones from amazon), i installed the 2 map lights and everything worked fine. As i installed the step light on drivers side, it worked and i tried to move the light to check how it looked on license plate (of the 7 in the package, only 3 were the correct size so i knew i was going to return it but wanted to see how they looked.) Im hoping its just cuz i bought crappy bulbs(went ahead and order some from jdmtoy now) but what i need to figure out is which fuse i need to change. I dont see the fuse in the box thats at my feet, or at the one by the battery. Maybe i am just missing it, going to buy a test light tomorrow. I hear there is a 3rd fuse box near the battery as well where you have to remove battery. Before i do all that, has anyone had this issue and do you remember where the interior light fuse was. and the license plate light? Whats also weird is only one of the 2 license plate lights is out, i saw a small spark when i plugged it in

hoping someone has an answer as this is veryyyyyy frustrating. thanks

Might sound redundant but did you try putting the old bulb back in to see if it works? I ask because both license plate bulbs as well as the side marker and tail lights (not the brake lights) are all on the same circuit. If one works than the other should as well. For the record the fuse is a 10amp and it's located inside the car. If it's blown than none of the rear lights would work(except maybe the brake lights when you hit the brakes). Double check the socket and try a different bulb. If still nothing than something else is amiss.

Buy some better bulbs .... VLED or DD .... reverse your polarity while testing. Check the wire leads on the bulb too, with crap bulbs they could be bent and might not be making contact.

interesting.......Never had that happen. Sometimes you have to flip the LED around.
