Windows Fogging

I have only had my G for 4 month but during this winter I can't believe how fast my windows fog up. Out of all my other cars this one fogs up like no ones business. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just crazy?

Not a bad idea xD. Doesn't hurt to have it in the car.

Did you try turning on your defroster immediately?

I have my setting on auto

Never had this problem on my previous 06 G35 or my present 2012 G37S

Use the AC, it dries the air.

I let it warm up before i go. After all the windows are clear i switch to usual climate controls and the everything fogs up real fast. Not a big deal, just wanted to know if what I am experiencing is consistent.

Not necessary.

Cars needed to warm up when they had carburetors.

I never warm up my car. i just get in, start, and go. I drive it slow for about a mile and the temp gauge starts to climb.

You are just wasting gas and causing air pollution.

I'm not so concerned with gas mileage, so I typically let my car warm up for 10-15 mins before I start driving. I would start it, lock the car and go back inside to get ready in the morning. It feels so much better getting into a warm car when its in the teens or below.

What I noticed is the windows will fog up if recirculate is on when its really cold out, I typically leave mine in auto mode and turn recirculate on. On really cold days, I use use full auto. Full auto will not recirculate on those cold mornings, and start with defrost then switch to foot after a while.

I don't really notice the G fogging up more than any other cars I had, my older cars would fog up the same way if I leave recirculate on.

Question

I don't have fogging issues in mine but have read that dirty cabin filters can have an impact.

When was the last time you changed yours?

Also, the windows simply being dirty can cause them to fog quicker than normal.
