Changing Headlights

I was wondering if its possible for me to change the "parking light" ( the one that lights on during the day while driving) not the HID light myself or should i need to bring it into a shop? is it difficult.

Also, its currently yellow - factory colour. Any recommendation on what colour i should consider considering the HID lights are light blueish..

Thanks!

This should help. It's not difficult to do just more time consuming than it should be.
For the city (parking) bulbs, I would look into a pair of leds. If you still have the factory HIDs I wouldn't get anything with a color rating higher than 5k. I believe that the stock HIDs are 4300k.
I swapped the city (parking) lights with vleds 5k 6 led bulbs.
194 5K WHITE 6 LED HIGH POWER 360° 180LM | 1 PAIR - 194 - 168 - 158 LED - Shop Bulb #
The new city led bulbs were a lot crisper looking than the stock HIDs, so I swapped the stock HIDs for a pair of OSRAM Xenarc 66240 cbi 5k HIDs.
D2S: Osram Xenarc 66240 CBI - HID Bulbs - Components
Hope this helps, and I'll try and find a pic to show you the end result.

From: Framingham Ma,
I change mine, Went with Diode dynamics 8k kit. That's the parking light or DRL on some cars, If your talking about the one in the top corner of the headlamp good luck you have to go in from behind and remove the tires. I changed those on my sedan to LED's PIA man.

I changed mine with the diode dynamics kit too. I love all the led's I got from them. I also got their 6k hid bulbs.

We do include basic instructions with our kits. It's fairly simple to install them, but feel free to call us if you have questions: (314) 205-3033

Thanks!
