Debadged the 2012 G37J

So i was allowed to remove the numbers & letters, no emblem..yet. I used this plastic utility tool set from Autozone to scrape the adhesive. Also @ the Zone was the 3M adhesive remover in a spray can. Took about 90 mins.

looks good. lots of discussion on here about various options for debadging.

what do you mean "i was allowed to remove the numbers & letters,..."? is there a rule in the lease papers if you are leasing? if it's your car why wouldn't you be allowed?

to canuck. it's wifeys new ride.
i popped the tails, took them to the body shop, wet sanded, clear coat & black lacquer mix. 150 bucks for both. Very minor ghosting from the badges, i'll let my detail guy handle it.

Debadge = Stop smoking crack and leave your emblems on.

No but if its a lease and you remove them and don't put them back it'll cost you 90$ when you turn it in.

The debadging may not be the problem here; it’s those smoked tails that look illegal to me. But I guess nobody cares about that either.
