I have a coupe and going from journey to sport was bolt on, plug and play.

I highly doubt the dealer would know about this, it's not something they do or offer. My local dealer saw at my swapped seats and they were very confused. A lot of dealers don't even think they paddle shifters can be installed.

That's about the going rate, and actually not bad for a set in new condition. Here is a set of front/rear for $1300 + free shipping if you are flexible on the condition. You can sell the rears and your old seats to recoup some cost, the seller may even part them out if you ask nicely.

I must be blessed with knowledgeable dealer types here in Socal :-)

I've always been able to find a parts guy that can answer my questions about which parts fit into which cars.

Everything else that I asked about was priced as such.
Wheels and tires $1000.
Seats $1500
heated seat switch $50
Paddle shifters $140 pair
Are thinking about getting the 18" sport wheels (the duck feet) for $1k? because you could buy the coupe 19" on here with decent tires for $1k or less, depending on condition, if TPMS is included, and tire life. The 19's look so much better on the sedan than the 18's.

Just some food for thought.

Here is a good thread to look through if you haven't already:

And for comparison:

I absolutely love the look of the coupe 19s! I have been searching around and trying to figure out exactly what I want for my set up. I'm thinking

09 sport bumper
coupe 19s
mild drop
15-20mm spacers
stock silver akenobo BBK all around with black zinc rotors

That would be a good set up. It's hard to argue with the look of the 19's. I love mine. As far as spacers, if I were you I would just buy a wider tire, if you can afford to. I think mine are 225 front and 245 rear, or something similar, and I can fit a 20mm spacer just fine in the front, where the rears are about a 10mm (20mm rubbed). Next time I buy tires I plan to buy some that are wider so I don't have to worry about spacers. They're nice to have, but I'd rather have a wider tire. I know people are running 275 rears on here, and I question if I could do 285 rears, but my tires are still pretty new so it'll be a while before that happens.

The Akebono BBKs show up every now and then in the classified section and, from what I remember, prices vary from around 750 to 1k, depending on condition and if it's a complete set.

Are you running RWD or AWD?

First off thank you for all the incite. Sometimes it gets difficult to weed out the information you need with SO much on here!

I would try not to get too pricey on the tires but I do like that option. I am partial to the flushed wheel/tire look and will most likely do it with spacers just because the wider tires can get up there in cost.

So to recap...

20mm in the front.
10-15mm in the rear

As for brakes, I've had a bad experience buying used. Intentional or not, the calipers were a bit far gone and the rotors were cracked and warped so I'm thinking of going new.

Akebono Infiniti Front and Rear 14 Inch Big Brake Upgrade Kit 07-08 G35 Sedan, 09+ G37 Sedan, and 08+ G37 Coupe CV36 - performance parts

The best price and setup I've found so far. Thinking silver calipers, slotted black zinc rotors, steal braided brake lines!

Usually the ones that are sold on here in the classified section are in pretty good shape. Here is one, you may be able to talk him down a little if you wanted to try:
https://www.myg37.com/forums/private...brake-kit.html

Otherwise there are a couple of vendors on here that sell them. Send TunerzStore a pm, I've met up with him in person and he is a really nice guy. Here is his thread regarding the BBK upgrade:

Good luck.
