Hooking up fogs on non fog G.
Okay, so here is my ?. Bare with me if this ? Has already been brought up, as I am new to this forum. I have a 08 g37s coupe and it doesnt have oem foglights other than in the headlights. Well, I'm looking to buy the 2011 ipl front bumper and I wanted to instal the fogs that can be put on the bumper but I called the local infiniti dealer close to my house and the guy there told me that it isn't possible to instal fogs on my car if I don't have the proper harness to do so. My ? Is, is there a way I can just connect them to my headlights/wire harness? Or am I SOL because I don't have the model that comes stock with fogs? Any help would be appreciated and I apologize again if this has already been brought up and answered. If I could just be pointed in the right direction. Thanks!

It can be done...Check out this thread:

Another option is to replace the vents in the IPL bumper (which has cut out for fog lights) with the "faux" vents from the Anniversary Edition bumper. This will prevent you from having empty cut outs where the fog lights would normally be in the 2011+ models and just keep the fog lights in the stock location inside your headlight housing.

All I did when I did my retrofit to put 2011 fogs on my 2008 was get H1 to 9006 adapter cable and then a H11 to 9006 adapter and that gave me the lenght I needed to go from the head lights to the fog lights. Now they turn on with the same stock switch. As for the original fog lights I made them into DRL and got a kit that turns them on when I turn my car on. I'm sure you can do the same for what your looking for
