You need to drive one. It's a pure driver's car- light, well-balanced, short throws on the shifter (you literally just flick your wrist) and RWD. Besides, any chick who can drive a stick (nearly 90% of the first gen Miata's are manual) is alright with me!

People suggest the G coupe looks (key word = looks) like a chick's car but the Miata doesn't? And my wife has been driving a stick since her Prelude days in the 80's.

I drive a 2013 Hyundai Accent hatchback as my commuter. Looks like a roller skate but gets great gas mileage, so I don't give a damn what anyone thinks unless they're gonna pay my gas bill.
