Smile HID Question :D

Well guys im not a big fan of my current bulb now what should i do i found an HID D2S kit for $50

Now my concerns , if i change the phillips bulb 9006 with an HID kit will get some sort of Adaptive headlights failure ? since i have that feature,

Also am i being immature for wanting a more white tint of light compared to the stock tints ?

I read up on the install and everything seems easy but now the questions is should i .... Boooom LOL

IMO, make 'em match. 8000K puts out a (IMO) dangerously low amount of usable light. 6000K has a nice blue tinge, and still has plenty of usable light.

I imagine he still has the stock airboxes. If you do, then you'll need to unbolt and remove them before you can get to the city lights without contorting your hand.

Luckily, I already had aftermarket intakes when I did the swap. If you have aftermarket intakes, it's a 15 minute swap, max.

I think that lights are an important safety feature, but you can still alter the look ad maintain proper output. If you want to get the best of all words, I recommend the Osram CBI (Cool Blue Intense). It is rated at 5000K for a whitish blue appearance as well as a good amount of usable light. This is a proper solution, not a cheap solution.

D2S: Osram Xenarc 66240 CBI - HID Bulbs from The Retrofit Source Inc
