I accidentally blew out my illuminated kick plate fuse and I have no idea where this "illumination fuse" is located. I read that it's hidden beside the battery but I can't seem to find it. Any help is welcome !

PS. My dome lights work, just the plates won't light up.

I think it's behind the plastic kick wall down near your feet (passenger side) on the right (not the firewall). If I remember it right from when I installed them it's an in-line fuse that's part of the sills wiring harness.

 

I might have this wrong now that I think about it. I might be getting it mixed up with the Ambient Light kit. I know the fuse is part of the wiring harness (in-line fuse) of the sills but it's part of the "open door" circuitry.
