I totally agree that they look quality, and that in comparison the black looks cheap. My only problem, and what I just can't get over as I keep contemplating them, is that they don't quite match. There almost stand out a little too much, which isn't always a good thing. Someone said it on another thread, but I wish they were brushed to match the washi and I'd be in.

In general they look great though. Don't get me wrong...I'm sure I'll get them at some point...

And nice camera skills.

I think they match the analog clock chrome bezel perfectly.

Thanks, I was also surprise how tough & solid they feel.

Congrats! Your pictures do these ***** better justice than my iphone pics. They look great against the washi trim as well. Such a nice improvement over the factory *****.

Agreed...there's enough chrome trim that it blends well. I like it!

OP, can you take a picture at night with the ambient lighting on? I'm curious how it looks with the light reflecting off them. Thanks.

Looks really good on the washi trim. Mine should be coming in tomorrow and I have the wood trim. I'm sure I'll post photos over the weekend.

np, I'll post some pictures later today.
These are replacement *****. You have to remove the OEM.

btw, just like removing any components from the G, removing the OEM ***** takes a little bit of effort - keep a firm grip as you pull straight out and they will come out.
When installing the replacement ***** you might want to add a very small amount of vaseline (or similar) to the tip of the studs and then pushing the new ***** straight in.

anywho, just wanted to share this in case someone has a difficult time removing the *****....like I did

Gio, I had a tough time getting em off as well. My fingers hurt on the last one so i ended up getting scotch tape, wraping it around my finger, then my thumb (separately) twisting it so sticky side was out. It gave me some grip and the **** pop right on out. I'm at the office so i didn't have my double sided tape which would have worked pefectly.

Here's the pic with the wood grain. I posted this pic on the review thread as well.

Maybe I'm over-reacting (I probably am) but has anyone else ordered a set today and not yet heard back from Ray at Carsmo? I sent him a paypal payment today around 10am, sent him a PM just to let him know I sent payment, and also wrote a response in his vendor thread. I am usually real hesitant to just paypal someone money but after reading so many reviews about how awesome these items look and seeing so many other people sending payments, I felt that this was a safe venture. Ray, if you read this would you mind either PMing me here or just emailing me to let me know that you received payment and everything is ok? Thanks!!

EDIT: I was over reacting. I just went to check my email right after I wrote this and I saw in my inbox, the tracking info for the *****. Label me impatient. I deserve it.

LOL. I understand where your coming from. I use paypal a lot so it didn't bother me. I'll tell you what, Ray is fast. I've never received a package so quickly. It came in 1 day.

I know you placed your order today but it might already be in your mailbox.
