Question OEM LED's as DRL's on Canadian G's

Reaching out to my fellow forum members. On 2010+ G37's sedans in Canada the Daytime Running Lights are the full low beam headlight system, including marker/headlights/signals and rears. I would like to install the OEM LED's to function as DRL's as they would if installed on the American version of the same vehicle. Has anybody in Canada done this? Any insight from forum members would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

After I purchased my 2010 sedan I was shocked to discover they have all the lights on all the time and call it the daytime running lights in Canada. I have looked at the wiring diagram and it is not easy to change it, in fact it has a different module or at least programing and I would love to be able to change it. I will be surprised if you receive an answer from anyone that it can be done.
