Window issues

My 2009 g37s coupe keeps having window problems. Whenever the car sits out in the sun for awhile and I roll my window down it doesn't go up right. It goes up all the way but then it goes back down like 3 inches. And whenever I open my door up and it rolls down just a little it ends up rolling down a few inches (like 5 inches) as soon as I shut the door again. It's almost like it doesn't want to be rolled up all the way. It's really aggravating! Any help?

Might need a window reset. Close the door and roll the window down all the way. Now roll it completely up, then hold the button up for about 10 more seconds. That should take care of it. Do the same for the passenger's side.

Also, why this happens by itself could be due to a bad battery. I'd get it checked out. If you're still under warranty, there is a TSB that replaces the battery and re-programs the ECU.

The window reset works... Happened to me as well and I used the reset to correct it. Here's my log on it.

I changed my battery this morning, and on the way i realized my window didn't go all the way up, so i figured i'll look into later, but i just parked my car at work and then i realized that my window will roll down, but it doesn't roll up at all! i'm so confused, because I don't want to roll it all the way and have it stuck so i can't really do the reset, for fear of the window not being able to roll up at all.

You don't have to roll it all the way down. And it will go up manually. Do the factory reset. It does the job..
