Bulb replacement: easier through wheel well or engine compartment?
Bulb replacement: easier through wheel well or engine compartment?
i need to replace a bulb in my headlight (just one of the regular bulbs).
last time i did this i went through the engine compartment and it was pretty tricky (and a pain in the butt). i've read some people go through the wheel well instead.
anyone tried both ways? does either one allow easier access to the bulbs?
thanks!

If you have the room/time to take off the wheels, yes, going through the wheel well is much easier. All you need is a flathead screwdriver/trim removal tool and a 12mm hex socket to take off the bolts.
This is absolutely required to access the sport foglights, and it is in general easier to replace anything except for the city lights.
