Interior (footwell) LED mod

Tried searching in the DYI forum with no luck. Anyone done the interior LED footwell mod? Not to keen on the oem kit and heard it was a B to install.

Think I'd rather come up w my own that can be used for both front and back seat....anyone have a dyi thread or anything else to help point me in the right direction would be appreciated.

I installed the OEM kit, took me like 2 hours but most of that was figuring out how to pull all the dash panels without damaging them. The car was 2 weeks old at this point so I was a bit paranoid. Really not that hard to do, kills your back because of the angles you have to lay to access the wires up behind the glovebox though.

To do a DIY, it'd honestly be pretty simple, just get some stick on LED strips in the color of your choice, run some wires, tuck them under carpet/out of sight, and splice into the same wire the OEM kit hooks up to (glovebox light I believe).

Shoot me a PM about our footwell lighting kit!

We have an awesome kit, it has multicolor options, programmable modes, different brightness settings etc...It's very fairly priced too!

They start at $29.99 for a single color kit!
Footwell Kits - LED Accent Kits - Specialty Lighting

Thanks,

If you get the multicolor kit you can dial back the brightness as much as you want with the Remote or the Wifi Smartphone App

The wifi controller costs extra...more than the kit. But it would be pretty bad-***. Wife is going to kill me if I spend more money on LEDs, though, lol.
