Wiring mod to prevent auto dimming instrument panel when city lights on
Anyone know how to do this? The car thinks it's in night mode when it's not when the city lights or headlights are turned on manually by default.

What year? I hated this with our '08G but they fixed it on our '12 M and it works great. There is a sensor to sense ambient light ...

I would like to be able to turn on the lights manual without going into night mode brightness settings. Every time I have to manually override the brightness on the instrument panel and nav screen because it is too dim during the day, and then switch it again at night time.
