Hey man I was just admiring your work! I've actually been thinking about doing something similar for a bit now but I couldn't really decide until I saw this thread. If you don't mind me asking how much did you charge for that? Also where are you located and would you consider doing something similar for me? My car is moonlight white as well. Everything would be somewhat identical except perhaps leaving the infiniti symbol alone or perhaps painting it red, to match the calipers ext

Just to be clear I LOVE your engine bay. My vert is white as well and I've been wanting something special done to dress up the engine bay. This instantly became my inspiration. The only reason I was lmao was the comment that Glover998 made about you cutting your stillen LT CAI's in half...that was funny bro. I'm defiantly gonna do something like your paint job tho....I promise I won't do a straight up copy. It'll be diff in a few small ways. Maybe throw in some carbon fiber or something I dunno, would love to see some more engine paint jobs for other sources of inspiration

No worries my inspiration came from all the cover that JPSBLACKG37 , https://www.myg37.com/forums/body-in...ay-thread.html and I was just impress with it. Here is my new addition just finish all of it tonight lol.
After changing to a flat black, I definitely think the other black was not good.

Im confused.. are we looking at two different engine bays? JPS's work looks amazing, flipmode your black is all cracking am I missing something here?

 

Nope its all crack lol, I don't know what happen every time I painted the engine bay it crack I change the paint on the grill and it look nice and perfect??

I think I will leave it like that it look different but one day I will ask JPSBLACKG37 to do the exact one I have for me lol.

I added a mesh behind the grill. but one thing I forgot to do is to clip all those connector back lmao

 

Dude I've got to say I like your style. Never in a million years would I have considered taking it to that level.....but after seeing yours I think it's actually pimpin. Love the blue accents on the outside of the ride. The lettering a on he back...holy cow it's actually cool!!!?

Have you seen another ride on here that has the grill painted the same as yours but it's some off red/pink color?? Hideous...ugh...but I'm digging yours.

Have you done anything to fix the cracking black on your engine cover yet? If and when you fix it is like to know.

 

Well thank you, I wanted mine to look like JPSBLACKG37 , done like the pro lol but guess during the process I was getting tired from working late everyday.

MY inspiration came from the black and white that JPSBLACKG37 posted so I bought all the paint but after seen all of the other engine bay that he posted, I decided to add the blue accent outside because on the black and white engine the blue was lonely to my eyes lol, but my inpiration came from that red/pink color maybe it was for a woman (no offense) to it

No I didn't do anything to fix it, I gave up and it grew on me lol but I'm not going to lie I was mad how it turn out at first, but so far lots of people love it even the kids where I work at, you should of seen the face of the infiniti staff looking at the engine cover they had a big smile (priceless).
