its just a "DRL" or "Parking Lights"

I put a different bulb on mine with black cover on it and now it shines "whiteish blue" inside the housing. Its nothing major

 

They wont blink as turn signal or hazard.

In European cities, 55w headlights are forbidden, so either the headlights have a lower wattage bulb in them (5watts), or the running lights/parking lights are used.

Thats what these are.

Set your stalk to the parking position without headlights and look.

 

2010, like mine have both the fogs, and parking lights in the inbosrd housings.

I did add 2011 fogs in the bumper at that time.
