I have the bumper plugs. Well worth what they cost. You can also make your own. Pretty sure there's a DIY on here for it.

I recently did the same thing, but i went to home depot and they had 3/8 metal hole plugs for about 1.25 and painted them with touch up paint and looked exactly the same!

I have the same issue. Check out this DIY I found on a bimmer forum. The write up is pretty good and I plan to do it whenever I get time. Plus the extra touch up paint can help cover some door dings (from the previous owner).

Bumper Plugs

Hey man,

Been browsing the thread of this site for a while now and modding my G. This was one of the first "mods" i made since I hated the dealer plate.

SAVE YOUR MONEY on the bumper plugs though!

You can make your own.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot - they have those Hillman caps you can get that fit I forget the correct size I got but I eye-balled it to my bumper holes (ended up drilling them out a bit)

I followed this guide somewhat.

DIY: $10 Bumper Plugs - G35Driver

All I did was use a kit of the 2oz bottled paint from automotivetouchup.com - it was a bit more expensive in moonlight white but it was also useful for touching up all my rock chips that came with the car.

Here is my final outcome.

(didn't have any closeup pictures except when I painted my grill and fogs)

Hope this helps!
