3 out of 4 windows rolled down when i checked on my car this morning?

Anyone know how this happened? I checked on my car this morning and 3 out of 4 windows were rolled down on my 2009. They were all shut when I last used my car last night.

Hold the unlock on your keyfob, and all the windows will roll down. You probably did it by accident from within the house. No answer about the fourth, however.

Yeah, i could believe it completely if it was all 4 windows. But having only 3 windows rolled down is the odd part.
I am just hoping this is not a frequent random event, I'm getting my car shipped to californa in the next few days and dont want it to be down by accident or malfunction!

Not sure but maybe one of those lockout buttons was pressed where you can't roll down the window all the way, maybe effected the auto down function? Just a guess

The dealer can disable that function so you don't inadvertently lower the windows in a rainstorm from a remote location

I would perform the adjustment procedure for the auto up down on all windows

You should perform the adjustment procedure for the auto up down function on all the windows ...especially the one that didn't go down. The key fob thing is correct. But as to why number 4 stayed up that may be the adjustment. to adjust them put the car in the ACC position with all windows up. Then one at a time.
1. put window down all the way and hold the button a few seconds. do not push button hard enough to engage auto down.
2. put window all the way up holding the button for 6 seconds again not engaging the auto up function. you may hear a beep from the computer.
3. test the auto up/down and make sure it works properly.

I had to do this on my passenger side window it now works like a charm.

I know if you disconnect the battery for long enough it eventually resets the auto up/auto down feature. I do not know if that would disable rolling down from the keyfob though. Wouldn't hurt to try though?
