Best Map LEDs for 2010 G37?

Does anyone have recommendations for good LEDs to replace the stock map bulbs (194/168 bulbs)?

I'm looking at getting 5K white LEDs that are nice and bright, but not blinding. I'm leaning towards VLEDS, but they sell so many different 194 bulbs, it's hard to decide which is the best one: VLEDS 5K BULBS

Yeah, but which VLEDS? They sell 9 different kinds of 5K 194 LEDs. I'm trying to figure out which LED is the best.

I have Putco white lights in my 2008 G Coupe. They are uber-bright, but the previous owner put some dull LEDs, and I literally could not read anything at night. They are bright enough not to look directly at them, but not enough the be annoying. Don't look at them without the cover, though . The picture in the listing is pretty accurate, though I think they have the covers off in the pic.

Go with Vleds. I have the 5k 6 smt leds in my maps and like them. They are on the bright side so i ordered the 5 smt ones for 4.99 a pair to try out. Their customer service is great.

Thanks, but those are way too expensive for me!

Thanks! I've heard that the SMT LEDs will glow after you turn them off. Have you noticed this with the ones you have?

Yeah, these are the ones I was looking at. Do you notice if they glow after they get turned off?

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm thinking of getting a second pair for my parking lights too, but I'm not sure how closely they match the HIDs.

I have the same ones. They're not blinding bright but as good as OEM bulbs. They do glow very lightly. You really have to look to notice.

I use them there too ..... the HID's are 4300 kelvin so the VLED will be a little whiter.

Did you get the 6 smt led or 5. There is no glow with the 6. The guy at vled to me the 6 and 10 have resisters for that problem where as the less expensive 5 smt doesnt. Which will in turn gjve off a skight glow when they are off. He said that the glow doesnt hurt anything thought. So i never ordered them
