Purchased these last week and they were shipped to me super fast, they were also packed very well.

These are the Stage 1 Fog Light LEDs in amber for the G37 Sedan. The install was easy, just remove a few under tray bolts, remove the old bulbs and install the new ones. Here are some pictures if you guys are interested.

 

I will be doing an led fog install soon on my 2010 sedan. I'm curious, was there a reason you decided to go from underneath? From all the DIY guides I have read, I have gathered that it's easier to turn the wheels to one side, peel back the wheel liner and do it that way. Did you need ramps or jacks to go from underneath?

I'll be installing 6k HID's and the fogs at the same time.

I was able to install the passenger fog light. I had to remove the panel on the bottom of the car at front of bumper & sneak your hand in there to remove & install fog light. This is for 2010 G37.

If I knew I can do this, I would have done it for the driver side as well. Also, the 2010 fog light bulb is H8 not 9006.

Excellent job! I have a blown bulb in my 2011 G37x I must replace. Are the bulbs you installed better? Also you tube has a video of replacing them by removing the wheel well,your way looks much easier. Would you have steps to do it? Thanks a lot for sharing and having more ideas on completing!

 

Im not good at doing write up but i will take pics of the bottom of the car & will see if i can mark the screw to remove. I will warn you, the passenger is a little tite. I incur some scratches on my arm but was able to get it done. My hands are not big.

The bulbs are the $30 from DD. Factory was yellowish so i changed it. Its white w a hint of blue, not the same as factory HID headlight but it will do. Just didnt like factory yellow. Bulb is H8 & not 9006 for my 2010.

 

Yea I went ahead and got the xml2 led fog light bulbs and those things are extra bright. Had to change out my Hid bulbs to 5500k to match the blue tint from the led bulbs but everything is cool. My HIDs still overpower them on the ground but those fogs brighten up everything else. There suppose to be able to put out 1500 lumens and they do the job well.

I installed mines by going through the wheel well on the drivers side and underneath the car through the splash shield on the passengers side. The windshield wiper tank is blocking it from the wheel well so u have to get infront of it by going underneath. Very easy job though

advice: see where the fog light is on the bumper & remove the screws on the splash guard accordingly. if it will make you easier, remove the whole splash guard but it is a lot of screws. i think if you just remove about 3 screws around the fog light area, you should be good.

splash guard means the one underneath the car toward the front of the bumper not the wheel one.

do the driver side first so you can have an idea of how it goes cause the passenger side is a little tighter. good luck

 

What lights did you replace? I think they looked better. They were brighter. Not a fan of yellow. Looks too ricey for me....

 

Going from under is much easier than peeling back the fender liner. In fact, the windshield washer reservoir will block you on one side anyway.

It takes me all of 6 minutes to roll onto a set of ramps and remove the splash guard. From there, both fog lights take 1 minute each at most. It does take me 2 minutes longer to install the splash guard than to remove as I hand tighten the bolts after using the impact driver.
