Pre-painted fender...fair price?

Called CarPartsPainted.com paints and delivers the exact car or truck part you are looking for at a reasonable cost and with high quality care. to get pricing on a new passenger side fender for my car. I was quoted $384.95...that includes the fender, paint and shipping. He assured me they use Infiniti paint and that the color would match perfectly. The website says they offer 100% refund if not fully satisfied.

What do you guys think?

Is the part they are painting OEM? Aftermarket can have poor fitment issues and leave gaps around the headlights and hood.

Pending which color too... it Being OEM Paint doesn't mean much unless its a basic color, red, blk, wht. Any Metallics are not always the same. I had a Audi Oyster Gray and a Shop fixed the damaged area and looked purple! Took it to another shop to repair what the other shop screwed up and was told Metallics are done differently yet climate tints etc to match unless its a basic color...
One thing is our Front Fenders are not cheap... but sounds like a Fair price if it comes out right yet a OEM Fender... thats the key..

The color can vary slightly from the same can of paint with two different men spraying the paint. What color is your car? Normal procedure would be to paint a bit onto the hood and onto the door. Also I agree with ai3j50 said about oem parts. I have heard of aftermarket fenders having a different curve by the door from oem.

You usually get what you pay for.

You should definitely ask what type of paint they use. There are many different levels of paint quality and that's why sometimes if you use cheap quality paint, the painted auto body part will not match your car.

We also sell pre-painted auto body parts, but I'd never promise a customer that we use that specific dealer's paint - although it is very comparable. Just my two cents. Hope you get a great job out of it!

Typically the fender needs blending to color match. Usually requires slight hood and door work. I would be very surprised if it's a match.
