rear bumper corner issue

So we had to trim the bumper bracket to fit the tires I had on some 20s. Now the corner of the bumper where the rear quarter panel and the bumper meet is stick out a quarter inch or so. Nothing noticeable to anyone else but me. Any suggestions on how to fix this? We relocated the 10mm bolt for the bumper bracket further on up the bracket, so we still have the screw acting as support. Was thinking of using some double sided tape but I can't get to that area with the car on the ground. Guess I'll need to get it in the air if need be.

anyone know if you can purchase the bumper bracket separately and put it back on?
