Window Alignment Issue

Hello G37'ers,

A while back I had my passanger door repainted, and anytime I get on the highway at speeds greater than 40kph, I start hearing an air leak. Upon further inspection of the window I noticed it was slightly off so I took it back to the body shop and had them re-align it. The air leak sound was reduced drastically but I can still hear it inside the cabin specially at highway speeds.

Is there any sort of alignment technique or way of checking to make sure the window is aligned perfectly instead of trial and error?

Cheers,
Sam

+1 I had the dealer replace a window motor last year and have the same issue, I would take it back to them but they are an hour drive away and of course won't do warranty work on the weekends.

I too have a alignment issue on my drivers side window. Been wanting to tear it apart on one of these weekends to adjust it. For now just bump up the music lol

That's exactly what I do, but then my gf rides shotgun and it's nagging about me screwing up the car for the next hour! lol
