Lights at night?

Please forgive me for this novice question but these are my first Xenon lights. It seems to me like at night that my head lights aren't as bright as everyone else one the road, Xenon or not. Is it possible for them to dim over time when they need to be replaced, like halogen lights? Or are they like LED where they either work or they don't?
Again I apologize for the noob question but it bugs me when it seems like sometimes my fog lights do more than my Xenon lights.

Are they aimed properly? HID shouldn't dim over time.

What do you mean they're not as bright as other cars? Are you talking about what you see when they're oncoming or are you comparing light output on the ground with the car next to you?

Color temperatures and headlight angles/height will affect light output. If you're headlights aren't flickering and/or turning a red/pink color, your bulbs are fine.

They seem a little low to me.

Like if I were next to a car at a red light and I compared them the person next to me would have brighter lights than mine. Its almost like they completely wash mine out, as if my lights aren't even on.

As far as I know they are the stock lights that came on the car when it rolled off the factory line, but my previous car, a Kia Forte, with halogen lights seems like they're brighter than mine.

HID's are usually well aimed and focused, so they don't glare like halogen lights...

HOWEVER, on my 2011, they were aimed pretty low from the factory. It seemed like they barely lit the road 50 feet ahead!

I raised them to proper spec, and they are so much better now. So you may want to check yours out.

Yeah I've noticed that as well. Is this something a dealer would have to do?
