head light

I did search ,but nothing. What paint would be the best to paint the interior of the head lights i am planing on glossy black so it match my wheels and front grill.

I painted mine with Dupli color Engine Enamel paint. No problems as of yet.

one more thing i found tons of info on how to remove the headlight ,but not on how to remove the clear plastic from the headlight assembly,do i need heat to do that?

I plan on doing this soon as well.. what temp and how long? Also I've heard of putting a wet towel on the tray then then headlamp?

About 215 degrees for about 10-15 minutes... I would remove all bulbs/ballasts etc before baking. Work on one while the other is still heating up.

Dupli-Color enging enamel should be fine. Pretty much any good quality paint will work unless you get some crazy condensation build up in your headlights.

i used krylon fusion black gloss, and then clear-coated it also with krylon fusion (on my old car).

the fusion series is made to adhere better to plastics. never had any problems with the heat from halogen headlights, HIDs shouldnt be any problem either.
