Does anyone just have the clear reverse parts of the tail lights tinted/smoked out? If so, how much? Trying to keep the red & black out the the reverse lights for a clean look.....

 

I haven't seen that done, and personally I think it would look the opposite of clean it might look ok lookin at it straight from the back, but at any angle you would see the white/chrome.

 

That would not look good. It can be done...should be pretty cheap considering how small the area is. I can't see it costing more than $30

 

I'd say just buy like $3 of vinyl and do it yourself considering it is such a small surface to cover. We have a vendor on here that is selling a red overlay for the reverse light for about $5, much cleaner than blacking it out imo.

 

I feel like I seen someone on here who has it done & it looks good since he had a black coupe....

 

Agreed...if you want to leave the red area untinted, then i'd tint the reverse light area red as well so it maf he's and flows better...instead of having a small black patch
