Omfg .. I figured it out .. Not only do u have to do the resistor trick and take off your seatbelt lock and connect it to the new seat .... You have to straight up murder your seat cushion to get the weight sensor out . I did it in a very respectful way .. Took it out and connected it and no more light ... There is nothing ought there on this and was a bitch to get out .. Nice !!

You're totally correct. I'm actually going through this same situation. I also did the resistor trick (2.2ohm) and transferred over the stock seat buckles onto my aftermarket seats.

I noticed the airbag light on so I did the airbag diagnostic and turn light off from flashing routine but it's still flashing. I checked the flashing chart and according to the service manual and it is the occupancy sensor thats giving this code.

I tried getting the occupancy sensor from the stock passenger seat but its definintely in the cushion! LOL
How did you get it out without raping the seat?

Occupancy sensor has to be plugged in. I bought a blown up passenger seat And cut it out. Problem solved.

Guys, I just installed a Sparco R100 in my 2013 G37S 6MT; great seat and the mod went well, but the airbag light is flashing on. It first flashed quick on and off so then I did the reset procedure and put it in diagnostic mode. In diagnostic mode, I get 2x 1.5 second flashes followed by 2 quick flashes. The light wont shut off no matter what I try.
I did the resister mod with a 2.2 ohm 1/4 watt resistor; I used the blue plastic 14-16 gauge 12 volt wire connectors to link the resistor to the yellow cable coming out of the floor of the car.
I've tried every reset procedure on the Internet to include combing through the tech manuals. I only replaced the drivers seat, not the passenger. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks a ton,
Tom

Did you take out the weight sensor from your stock seat?
