Feedback on window tint please - New G37s owner

Hello Gang,

Just purchased a '08 G37s coupe graphite, 6spd. Absolutely love it! I am getting windows tinted this Saturday and was looking from some input from those that know the cars best..this group! NC law here is 35% so will def get that in the door windows. I have heard of folks doing 20% on back winows and rear winshield. If anyone has pics that would be awesome, just not sure how that would look or if I should do 35% all the way around? Any thoughts?

I'm at 35% all the way around...still illegal in CT, but the cops don't bother you with just that.

Pics are in my garage if you wanna take a peek.

Thanks Mattster - car looks great! How are those short rams by the way? Noticable difference in sound/power?

^ thank you, I've been waiting to see what GS looks like tinted.
Do you feel it added in a positive way or took away from the clean look?

I almost feel like tint, much like lowering, is mandatory on these cars. It just looks better in every way. To the OP, I would do it the same all the way around. Or just the rear windshield 20% and the door and sides 35%

^ yes I'm the same way! But I've mostly only owned dark colored cars so I wasnt sure how GS would look. Your pictures look great I'll be adding that to my to do list. Thank you for the information.

Thanks all! Will post pics once completed! What type of intakes do you all prefer in the G37s? Short ram or cold air? Had cold air in my previous car but have heard issues about them not fitting properly in the G's

I just found out that in MD you need to have a sticker between the glass and film to "certify" your tint is legal. Wonder when that changed ...

Thanks. sounds a lot better with the typhoons. Didn't really gain any power, just smoothed out the power curve a little. Car isn't snappy at low rpms anymore, power is coming from 4.5k-6k now.

I have a GS 6MT Sedan and have 35% up front, and 25% in all back windows. Some pics of it in the Sedan Media Share if you wanted to take a look.

I had 20% in the back and 35% in the front. Ended up taking off the 20% and going 35% all the way around. Couldn't see out the back at night. But during the day 20% would be nicer. I went with function over form.
