Haha someone did the cutting for me. I can crack some headlights open no problem, but I can't cut into body panels. Everything is wired into the tag lights.

Some more pictures.

How it looks from the side. It's not flush, but i prefer how this looks. You can't make this flush without some bodywork

That looks real good, and I bet it is something only die hard G lovers will notice (at least while it's turned off). I like subtle mods like that.

You really don't notice it if you're not THAT close to it. There maybe plans of molding it into the bumper later, but it's not my top priority. I looks good, not flush IMO.

Here's a picture of it at night

I'm usually pretty critical about these kind of things, but I like this. Very OEM looking. Probably because of the diffuser. It would look better flush, but all things considered the rear of your car looks really good.

The only downside is how much it will stand out from other traffic when seen from far away, like in a Patrol Car. But if you only use the accelerator in those situations, then there's no problem.

Like the JDM tails... Once in awhile I'll get asked how I got yellow turn signals...

Nice work on the mod... not my cup of tea, but it really isn't something you will see much of!

Thanks a lot! This mod is really hate it or love it. Many people say they love the spot while others say it's tacky and etc. I got my radar detector for the sticky situations

Is the new light incandescent, or LED like the tails? It seems a different shade of red.

Have you considered some simple drop-in bulbs to change the look of the rear lights just a little? I'm using amber LED's on the license plate, and bright-white LED's in the back-up. Here's a recent pic:

It's an incandescent bulb. I'm sure the pictures make it look different.

I have the white LED in both my license plate and reverse. Where'd you get your ambers from?
