Shadow Chrome is awesome. Im going to do mine tomorrow. The more coats you put the darker it will get. Just be sure to leave the bottom and top chrome. I think some guy did this already in this forum and looks great!!!

Could be cool. You should mock it up in photoshop just to get a more solid mental picture for yourself.

 

I've wondered how the blue slate would look matched with chrome top and bottom, but I don't think it would go too well. I'm going black chrome on the grille, and IPL fog trim rings.

 

I have GS with a GS painted grill, it's not a stock grill though.
