Carbon Fiber Vinyl

Well i almost finished up all the carbon fiber vinyl in my car. I only need to do the center console now. I also had some little scrap pieces left over and decided to do the infiniti emblem on the steering wheel and the the small piece on the shifter. What do you guys think?

Thanks. I love the way carbon fiber looks, but can't really justify paying all that money for it. This cost me $40.

Yea. Got it from carbonfibergear.com. I will be ordering more to finish up the radio bezel and shifter part.

Cool thanks for the website info. I just found out that a previous employer of mine distributes this product so I'm trying to find out how cheap I can get it for. I'll let you know.

It's too bad people spend so much time and money covering the already nice aluminum trim we have. it'd be different if we had plastic everywhere. just my $.02

I was not satisfied with the boring aluminum trim we have. I think this is a subtle difference being that it is graphite carbon fiber instead of the cliche black carbon fiber.

Looks good, I like the aluminum but it scratches then looks bad. I'll probably cover mine at some point too.

how exactly did you do this? DIY? did you have to remove the pieces from the car and wrap them in the vinyl then put them back in the car? or does the vinyl just "tape" onto the pieces and all you have to do is cut it. have you tried removing it yet? is the vinyl permanent?

IMO looks great and I would love to do this asap too. I have a ton of scratches in my car I would love to cover up with carbon fiber
