Talking Vleds 5K (H11) LED Fogs VS IJDMTOY 3K HID Fogs

So i thought i would share my new fog lights as i been playing around with a few set-ups. Here is a comparison on Vleds new 5000K LED bulbs (H11) VS. The IJDMTOY 3000K HID Fogs. Both are great but honestly for ease of install/cost & Quality, these are amazing.

Reason i replaced HID kit for Leds was to eliminate the the ballast and extra wiring and finally try out the new LEDs that Vleds claims are a perfect substitute for these HID kits. My impression was that these LEDS are a very simple install and honestly just as great as the previous HID kit. The new leds are very crisp and bright, great price and i am very happy with these. LMK what you guys think!

Vleds 5000K LEDS $59.99 plus i have a 15% Coupon Code

Thanks for the review Diego. I've been debating what to do with my fogs and this may just have answered that question for me

I installed the Diode Dynamics 6000k Hi-Power LED fog light bulbs and wasn't too happy. The light output was just about what I was expecting for an led bulb and was fine but the actual color was just too blue for me. Now I'm back and forth on whether I want to go with 3000k halogen bulb, HID kit or possibly swap to a 5000k led bulb to match the Osram's I will be ordering soon

Here is the video! You be the judge, I still love HIDs but couldn't find 5K HIDs only 4300 and 6K. Oh well Vleds are good enough!

Thanks for the video! This is a perfect comparison of what I was looking for. I'd say those 5000k leds are pretty close match to the Osram's in terms of color but the output is definitely reduced compared to the 3000k HID's. My only concern is that I probably wouldn't use the fogs as much, mostly just for when the situation called for it (poor weather, etc.). This has me leaning towards 3000k HID's but the manufacturer I will likely go with also offers a 5000k bulb so I might just go with that.

If I go the HID route I will almost certainly be ordering the the Morimoto Elite HID System with either the 5k or 3k bulbs:

H11: Morimoto Elite HID System - HID Component Kits from The Retrofit Source Inc

It's a bit more pricey than some of the other kits but they have had wonderful reviews on HIDPlanet and I'd rather pay a little more for quality and piece of mind.

thanks for posting the vid. I may need to ask RDDLINE to do a vid with his 6k set up to help compare.
