AFS off

my AFS off light popped on last night when driving home. i dis-connected the battery over night but it didnt do the trick the light is still on. anyone know how to get it back on? and what fuse i might have to check.



on i side note i think i just found out i have 4was because i have the 4was fuse

............... why check the fuse? Because if the fuse's blown, you won't even see that light 'popped on'...

ok ... didnt know that . it just came on last night and i dont know how to fix it

Check the switch? Or take it dealer.

I think that's why people ask here first. Dealer rape is really the last resort.

As for 4was, does it light up in your instrument cluster? Kind of hard to miss the hardware if you take a look around the rear diff.

The AFS problems are very tough to diagnose, especially if you do not have access to a Nissan Consult. Does anyone know if there is a way to read the fault codes from it?

Maybe a dumb suggestion, but Autozone I think can plug in to your car and read the codes. Maybe they can help you out in finding out what component is broken before the dealer takes your wallet?

i might plug a obd II in .... if i cant figure it out i am not going to worry about it . i can live without my headlights turning...the light is kinda annoying tho
