Trunk mat quality?

Is the Infiniti logo on the trunk mat put on by embroidery or heat stamping? Is it of better quality/thicker than our paper thin floor mats?

Good quality embroidery. Thick heavy carpet. Much thicker and higher quality than the POS floor mats.

It's funny that the stock mats are built like dollar store knock offs.

The mats in my '09 aren't cheap thin crap. The mats actually feel thicker than the carpet ans the Infiniti log is embroidered. Maybe you guys got gyped.

All the floor mats i the 08 are thin, brittle pieces of crap. They are embroidered, but they quality of the carpet and the rubber backing is sorely lacking. I got my dealer to replace mine as a customer courtesy because the driver side one was worn and the grommet had torn after only a few months. The replacements did the same thing on a few months. I just resigned myself to not bother replacing them again until there was a higher quality option available.

I am going to replace the floor mats with ones made by Lloyd. I have gotten samples and they are much better than stock.

The premium mats should fit in a 2008 and they are way better than the stock mats. I have had mine in 2 different cars with a total of 45K miles and very little signs of wear except where my heals rub.
